Oil and Gas Job for Accounting, Auditor, Fleet Manager

Opportunities in The Oil and Gas Industry  

Our client is a reputable fast growing indigenous Oil and Gas company with massive investment in state of the arts facilities and operating presently in all the segment of the downstream sector of Nigeria economy.

 

As a result of expansion and strategic reporting, we seek immediate employment of the following exceptional individuals to join our existing team of 1,000 employees: 


  1. Auditors
  2. Accountants
  3. Truck Fleet Maintenance Managers.
  4. Fleet Manager
  5. Head, Information Technology (IT)

AUDITORS:

Responsibility  
i.                     Conduct regular and on the spot audits of financial controls and management system for corporate and legal compliance.
ii.                   Conduct annual review of fiscal and investment management policies and procedures and recommend corrective measure when necessary.
iii.                  Conduct audit of inventory management to ensure correct matching of physical inventory with available record.
iv.                 Conduct audit of automated financial system to ensure correct data represents corporate financial health
v.                  Ensure any identified data error, unaccountable transmissions, faulty or inefficient processes are duly communicated to management while proffering suitable solutions and control measures.


Core Skills:
i.                     Must be vision minded, through and arithmetic oriented, conscientious and calculative with high level of accuracy.
ii.                   Must be a person of integrity and ethically guided with willingness to disclose potential illegal, criminal and unethical business practices or data
iii.                  Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.


Qualification:
i.                     Bachelors Degree or HND in Accounting
ii.                   Qualified Chartered Accountant
iii.                  Possession of MBA will nr an edge
iv.                 Computer Literacy and familiar with automated accounting system or ERPs.
v.                   Minimum of Three (3) years relevant experience.


ACCOUNTANTS:   
Responsibilities:
i.                     Makes input to the preparation of comprehensive Annual Financial Report and supporting statistical schedules used for internal analyses by various stakeholder.
ii.                   Ensure accurate and timely periodic report o financial information well as processing of positive pay transaction and bank compliance activities.
iii.                  Maintain necessary reports that support all government regulations.
iv.                 Ensure an up to date fixed asset inventory system is maintained and treated adequately starting from acquisition time.
v.                   Reviews and recommends modifications to accounting systems and procedure.
vi.                 Posts data to various Accounting books following approved accounting techniques and procedures.   
vii.                Maintain the various ledger account including reconciliation of the group general ledger, revenue accounts expenditure account and cash balance
viii.              Responsible for subsidiary accounting records.
ix.                 Review accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculation and proffer corrective measure when necessary
x.                   Other general accounting duties assigned


Core Skills:

Qualifications:

ii.                   Must posses ACA, ACCA, MBA will be an added advantage
iii.                  Computer Literacy and familiar with automated accounting system or ERPs.
iv.                 Minimum of Three (3) years relevant experience.




WORKSHOP MANAGERS
Responsibilities
i.                   Perform scheduled checks on trucks.
ii.                   Ensure regular servicing and maintenance of all Truck in the company.
iii.                  Maintain a service and maintenance record of all vehicles.
iv.                 Ensure accurate tracking system is maintained and justified in the Truck management.
v.                   Process and ensure all Government regulatory requirements regarding fleet management are available and upto date.
vi.                 Ensure compliance with all safety norms and industry regulations for all work process.
vii.                Assign work area and tasks to subordinates, supervise and ensure timely completion of same.
viii.              Liaise with the purchasing department for spare parts and other repair equipment.
ix.                 Ensure appropriate usage of testing tools and repairs equipment.
x.                   Conduct periodic appraisal of drivers and other subordinates.

Core Skills
i.                     Ability to effectively lead and manage a team of subordinates especially drivers.
ii.                   Posses effective written, communication and interpersonal skills
iii.                  Ability to effectively manage time and all specified deadlines.
iv.                 Must be a person of integrity.

Qualification:   
i.                     Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
ii.                   Possession of MBA will be an added advantage.
iii.                  Computer Literacy and familiar with automated tracking system.
iv.                 Minimum of eight (8) years experience as a fleet management personnel 3 of which must be  at a managerial level.


MECHANICS
Responsibilities:
Ø      Must be able to diagnose fault and malfunctions
Ø      Ability to adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck trailer system.
Ø      Test and adjust repaired system to manufacturer’s specifications.
Ø      Performance scheduled maintenance services 
Ø      Ability to review work order and discuss work with superior.
Ø      Complete reports to record problems and work performed

Core Skills: 
i.                     Must be able to work independently as well as in a team atmosphere
ii.                   Job task planning and organizing
iii.                  Critical thinking problem solving.
iv.                 Decision making
v.                   Reading text and oral communication.
vi.                 Must be a person of integrity.

Qualification:
i.                     Certificates, License, Membership, Courses etc.
ii.                   Mechanic Trade Test Certificate, truck trailer repair trade Certification.
iii.                  Technical or Vocational training
iv.                 Certified Apprentice Courses.
v.                   Minimum of 1 years experiences working as truck trailer Mechanics years of which must be on Mack truck.

FLEET MANAGER  
Responsibilities:
i.                     Competence in Management of Trucks, Tractors, Earth moving Equipments, Centre, Pay-loaders and their Maintenance especially in the Oil and Gas sector.
ii.                   Equipment Leasing
iii.                  Fleet Monitoring
iv.                 Ensure fleet availability, fleet maintenance budget, Monitoring and control.
v.                   Accident Analysis.

Core Skills:
i.                     Must be able to coordinate and manage fleet above 700 trucks.
ii.                   Ability to supervise and train drivers.
iii.                  Risk Assessment of transportation route and Sites across Nigeria.
iv.                 Must be computer literate.

Qualification:
  1. A minimum of B.Sc/HND in Automobile Engineers, Transportation and related disciplines with additional certificate in logistics.
  2. Masters in Business Administration will be an added advantage.

HEAD, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) 

The head of Information Technology shall report to the CEO and is responsible for establishing the company’s technical vision ands leading all aspect of the company’s technology development. He shall be the company top Technology Executive, playing an integral role in the company’s strategic direction, development and future growth.


Responsibilities:
i.                     Lead the execution of Technology Strategy for Technology platforms. Partnerships and external relationship
ii.                   Build and manage a top flight Technology Team and oversee research and development, as well as project management.
iii.                  Provide visible leadership for the company within the Technology community.
iv.                 Anticipate and react to major changes to ensure the maintenance of company leadership in the competitive landscape.
v.                   Establish technical standards and ensure adherence to them for product development and company operation.

Core Skills:
i.                     Demonstrated ability to interpret Technology and master trends as a foundation for technology   
ii.                   Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
iii.                  At least  ten (10) years experience, with three (3) in an executive level position  

Qualifications:

i.        B,Sc in electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering required   

ii.       Relevant IT certifications are mandatory.
