Several Job Offer in a Hospitality Institute (B.Sc, HND, City and Guilds)


Hospitality institution  
A hospitality Craft School Located in Lagos is in search of suitable persons for the following Vacancies

Principal
The person will be responsible to the Board of Trustees and will have duties which include pioneering work for new school, daily administration of the school preparing students for recognized examinations for occupation in hospitality and tourism industry, maintaining staff and students discipline and decorum, representing the school at relevant public forum and developing good rap pour with employer in the industry.

Qualification        
Applicant must have passion for education and development of new generation for employment opportunities in the hospital and tourism industry. Previous experience in the management of similar institution will be an added advantage. A minimum of B.Sc or HND (Upper Credit)in hospital and tourism management, with a combination of diploma or certificate in education plus ten (10) experience in the industry will be required. Membership of relevant professional association will be an added advantage.

Lectures  
To teach theories and practices of core subjects in hospitality crafts at basic intermediate and advance level:
Food and Beverage preparation and service
 Food and Beverage service
Housekeeping/Accommodation Service Front Office Reception Operation

Qualification     
Teaching certification and a minimum of B.Sc or HND (Upper credit) in hospital and tourism management with not less than five (5) years industry and educational experience.

Administrative Assistant Accountant  
To be responsible to the Principal for the operations of the normal books of accounting records, banking transactions, administrative of staff payroll and payment for public utilities.

Qualification
B.Sc or HND in accounting with minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience. Applicant should be between 30 to 35 years old.

Store Keeper
To be responsible for control of stock of equipment and stationary, dry store, wet store and cold store, keeping records of goods received and issues and assisting the administrative Assistant  Accountant in bookkeeping duties.

Qualification
OND in business management or a good WAEC, NECO, or GCE certificate at least five (5) years store keeping experience in good organization. applicant must be at least 30 years old and should be able to produce a surety.

Kitchen Technical Assistant
To assist the lecturer in food and beverage kitchen practical work.

Qualification
An experienced industry cook with City and Guilds Practical Cookery Certificate or equivalent. Age between 35 – 45 years old.

Remuneration for all positions are as good as what is obtainable in the private industry sector
