Duties and responsibilities
The registrar is the Chief Administrative officer of the college. The incumbent will be responsible to the rector for the day to day administration of the college and serve as Secretary to the council and Board of Studies. He/She will also ensure proper application of policies and procedure for the general administration of the institution.
Qualification and Experience
i. The candidate must be a graduate of a recognized university with a good degree in Humanity or Social Science with at least eighteen (18) years post qualification cognate experience or Doctorate degree with 12 years experience. This cognate experience here refers to extensive experience in administrative capacity in institution of higher learning not lower than the Grade of a Deputy Registrar. In addition, candidates must be a registered member of at least on relevant professional body.
ii. The candidate must have distinctive aura of competence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
iii. The candidate should also demonstrate strong strategic planning and organizational skills, imbued with matured judgment and absolute integrity.
